Can I use my own artwork?
Sure, we can print directly from your files. In most instances we require a print ready .pdf with bleed and crop marks. For vinyl lettering, embroidery and items that require screen-printing we need a vectored .pdf .eps or .ai file. If you are unsure how to do this, please get in touch and we can talk you through it.
I have my own artwork and know what I want, can you make a couple of changes for me

What is a bleed and what is it for?
Bleed is the area where objects overlap the border off your document. We do this so that when the print is cut, we can achieve a great finish, with the print running right to the print edge.
What are crop marks?
Crop marks are markers which are set in the corners of your document which provide the guide for the gilloutine. Placing these accurately on your document helps to achieve a great finished cut.
What is full colour printing?
Full colour printing refers to prints which are made up from the primary 4 print colours; cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK). Using these four colours, our machines can mix the inks and produce millions of colours, giving you a great colour pallete for your prints.
What is spot colour printing?
If your business uses specific pantone colours, we can use the pantone references you provide us to give accurate colour matches and consistency with your brand.
Is your printing digital?
Some of our printing is, yes. We adopt various print production methods and will advise which is best for your product. Typically we use digital printing for low quantity print work to give a better cost per print. We use HP Indigo presses which offer outstanding quality – thus giving you top quality even with a low print quantity.
What is preferred format to receive artwork?
A print ready pdf file is the best form to provide us with. When doing so, please ensure that you add bleed, crop marks, embed all fonts and have exported using a CMYK workspace. If you need help exporting your pdf please get in touch and we can help. Please note that other file formats can be accepted, but will require a small amount of work to make them print ready – if in doubt ask us before you start your design, we’re happy to help.
